For drivers, and horse drawn carriages, please park along the top of the track, off to the sides out of reach of any farm equipment that may come by- there will be signage. Coming down to the bottom of our drive will result in a bottleneck.
For train, the closest station is Wickham Market. If you book your ticket early you can get it fairly cheap. We will try and organise it so that we can dispatch drivers to collect train arrivals (pub over the road for rendezvous) , or else if you can’t wait, splitting a taxi will work out affordable with a full car (recommend booking in advance). Uber is available however it can be expensive and unreliable.
For international arrivals, message us and we will sort out your comings and goings
If you wish to stay the night with us, we will be providing tents, as much bedding as we can muster and hot running water for the masses. If you have objections to the gentle embrace of a plastic tent, we will also be seeing who locally would be able to take on guests (let us know if this is your preferd option)
For those after a truly luxe experience, there is accommodation within Orford with rooms at the hotel, pub, and various BnBs up for grabs.
